The FounderMeet Byron Penstock
Valor is led by a founder with 25 years of experience at the highest levels of corporate law, institutional finance, and real estate — structuring complex transactions as an M&A attorney in the New York offices of Skadden, Arps, and managing institutional capital as a public equities Portfolio Manager, with additional experience across numerous private real estate partnerships. That background is built on credentials earned at the highest levels: an MBA from Harvard Business School, a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. That expertise is on your side of the table — on every deal.
Byron founded Valor Land Partners because he saw something the land investing world was missing: a funding partner who is as committed to the deal as the operator is — not just with capital, but with genuine expertise, honest communication, and a real stake in the operator's success.

Byron lives in Colorado with his partner, Karla, and their two daughters, Lily and Isabella.
